RIS - Driver Training in Steps
At Ton Wesker Driving School, quality comes first and that is precisely why we offer the Driving Course In Steps. With the Driving Course in Steps it is possible for every student to put together a "customized" driving course. The name says it all, with RIS you learn to drive step by step in 4 modules:
1. Operating and controlling the car
2. Easy actions and traffic situations.
3. Difficult actions and traffic situations.
4. Safe and responsible driving, e.g. during slippery conditions
Each module concludes with a test. After completing modules 1 and 2, knowledge and skills are tested. Your own driving instructor will take these tests. After module 3 there is an intermediate test, so you can get acquainted with the procedures at the CBR and get used to an exam situation. The examiner also gives you tips for improvement and you can earn exemption for the special operations for the first practical exam. Module 4 is followed by the final test; the practical exam.
The RIS course includes a practice book. You get homework for each lesson so you are well informed of what to expect. The advantage of this is that you already know the theory of that lesson and you can practice the practical part much more. On the instruction card in the practice book, your instructor will accurately keep track of your progress. This way you can check your progress at home.
