Fear of failure

Primary fear of making mistakes or failing. Fear of failure can be both positive and negative. Negative fear of failure is the fear of failing in situations in which a person is being judged or thinks they are being judged. And that fear acts as a hindrance. Negative fear of failure is spoken of when a person is so gripped by the fear of failure that his performance suffers severely. The first thing that comes to mind with negative fear of failure is, “What’s in there doesn’t come out.”

Symptoms

• For example, you get writing cramps or black out on an exam.
• Failures you attribute to yourself.
• You are insecure and afraid of coming across wrong or doing something wrong.

In many cases, you will try to avoid some situations as much as possible in order to avoid facing your fear of failure. Fear of failure can also eventually lead to driving anxiety. Having insufficient knowledge of traffic rules, incorrect viewing technique or insufficient control of the vehicle can create anxious moments as situations suddenly come at you.

You are who you are.

During driving lessons, you too are allowed to make mistakes; they are just learning objectives. We nemen alles stap-voor-stap in jouw eigen tempo door. I help you where needed and we work together toward the desired result. Eventually you are going to perform all disciplines of driving independently and when you feel strong in the car you will go up for the exam and you too will get your driver’s license.
